What is the difference between Boy Butter Original, H2O & Clear?
The base. Original is oil-based: coconut oil & an organic silicone blend churned into a cream that lasts like silicone lube & rinses off with water, but is not compatible with latex condoms. H2O is the water-based cream with vitamin E & shea butter: same buttery feel, latex-safe, vaginally safe & fine on every toy. Clear is a concentrated water-based gel with Invisigel that feels like silicone lube & washes off with water, glycerin-free & latex-safe. Sell Original to the customer who wants the classic & is not using latex condoms, H2O to the customer who wants the cream with condoms or toys, & Clear to the customer who wants a silicone-style gel.
Is Boy Butter safe with condoms & silicone toys?
Depends on the formula, & it is the question staff must get right. Original & Gold are oil-based: not compatible with latex condoms; the brand recommends polyurethane condoms with them. H2O, Clear & Warming are water-based & latex-safe. On toys, Boy Butter states that every formula, including the oil-based Original, is safe on all toys, silicone included; if a customer's toy brand says water-based only, H2O or Clear is the safe recommendation.
